In the beginning of March Conpleks participated in the great Odense Robotics Aarhus Hub<\/a> Kick-Off event. The Aarhus Hub is a newly started network within Odense Robotics for members located in Central Denmark Region.<\/em><\/p>\n

Odense Robotics<\/a> offers many national network groups that bring people from different robot companies across Denmark together. The networks include five regional hubs that operate around Denmark providing easy access to cluster knowledge, events and project opportunities. The hubs are central to the service Odense Robotics provides for its members and knowledge partners.<\/p>\n

– The OR Aarhus Hub network is made for bringing companies and knowledge institutions in the region together to share insights and experiences. And certainly, we did at the kick-off. It was a true pleasure to witness how different companies found each other during the day to share knowledge and experiences, and to learn more about each other\u2019s products and services, explains Jesper Askov Bonde Petersen, Business Development Manager at the OR Aarhus Hub.<\/p>\n

During the kick-off thirteen knowledge institutions and companies, including Conpleks, made a presentation for the rest of the participants. Most of the presentations were about how the presenting organization could contribute to the network, a few presented specific challenges they needed help with and the rest talked about their products.<\/p>\n

Robot Test Center in Struer<\/h3>\n

Before the OR Aarhus Hub became a reality, a group of companies working with outdoor, mobile robots met to talk about the possibilities for working together on different common facilities and projects. One idea was a robot test center. The test center is already a reality due to an effective effort made by the Municipality of Struer and Conpleks.<\/p>\n

– We had the pleasure of telling the participants at the kick-off event about our robots and projects, of which we especially highlighted the robot test center in Struer. Additionally, we presented the many opportunities that lies within the test center including the facilities and services provided by Sound Hub Denmark, says Tom Simonsen, CEO at Conpleks.<\/p>\n

National robot cluster<\/h3>\n

Odense Robotics is Denmark’s national robot and drone cluster. The cluster aims to play a central role in accelerating innovation and driving sustainable development amongst robot, automation and drone companies across Denmark.<\/p>\n

The cluster\u2019s five regional hubs are located in Aalborg, Aarhus, Copenhagen, Odense and S\u00f8nderborg, with the cluster secretariat in Odense. The cluster is founded on partnerships with leading knowledge institutions including Aalborg University, Aarhus University, Kolding Design School, Danmark\u2019s Technical University, FORCE Technology, the University of Southern Denmark and the Danish Technological Institute.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
