Launch of the World’s first line marking robot for football fields

Hjørring/Struer

Today Intelligent Marking launches the World’s first fully automated robot for football field line marking. The robot, called Intelligent One, is developed in close cooperation between Intelligent Marking in Hjørring, Denmark and Conpleks in Struer. The launch takes place at the Sportsfair exhibition, a trade show for sports and leisure activities in Fredericia.

The patented line marking robot navigates using a high-precision RTK-GNSS (GPS) solution. In addition, it uses special paint and a unique electric pump and spray nozzle that reduces the amount of paint needed per soccer field to an absolute minimum.

Intelligent One has the following key features:

  • Fully automatic GPS-based navigation without the need operator control
  • The robot uses only about 1.5 liters of paint per soccer field
  • Bag-in-box paint containers with a capacity for 12 football fields

The Intelligent One robot uses Conpleks Robotech auto-steering and navigation software.
