Conpleks tripled the attention at Agromek
One of the central themes for this year’s Agromek was sustainable solutions that contribute to a green transition within agriculture. A theme, Conpleks fully complied with through the presence at three different places at the exhibition.
The great visibility Agromek brought Conpleks, gave a lot of attention and publicity. At Fasterholt’s stand the Conpleks technology formed the foundation for the brand-new controller concept, FasterRain, for irrigators. And at the SqM-Farm stand Conpleks FieldSurveyor worked as eye catcher. The third stand was Conpleks’ own, which was situated in a special area for companies presenting new and innovative farming solutions.
Fasterholt awarded with two stars
Due to innovative and previously unknown features such as zone irrigation, water quantity settings and real time fleet management, FasterRain was rewarded by the Agromek Star Award. The controller concept is developed in close cooperation with Conpleks and includes an administration tool for field irrigation, an app and a cloud.
The solution has a huge, positive impact on environment, work load and even ergonomics. This originates from a correct utilization of nature resources such as water and soil nutrients and from minimizing the use of fertilizers, fuel and man hours. The formula is automation and remote controlling the irrigators. A procedure that also brings down the number of times, the farmer needs to go in and out of the tractor, which is an ergonomic nightmare.
Massive interest in SqM-Farm
The Danish research project SqM-Farm funded by GUDP, working on new technologies for Digital Farming, ends in December 2022. Therefore, the project partners attended Agromek and presented their final results and experiences. The exhibition delivered a great platform for spreading knowledge to as many stakeholders as possible, as farmers from all over the world gathered at Agromek.
Additionally, the project aim fitted perfectly with the overall theme for the exhibition, as AI, robots and drones reduces the use of resources such as time, water and fertilizers. Among other things, Conpleks contributed with the Conpleks FieldSurveyor robot. The robot is mounted with a sensor kit in order to gather data in the field that can define crop health status and growth. The stand drew a lot of attention also from the local TV channel, TVMIDTVEST.
Future Days featuring Conpleks
For Conpleks it was a privilege to be present multiple places at Agromek. The different contributions showed the diversity in technologies and solutions that Conpleks executes. Conpleks was situated at an area called Future Days at Agromek, as the farming solutions Conpleks works with, are within research or development of new solutions.
Agromek is the largest exhibition for agriculture in Northern Europe and was held from November 29 to December 2nd 2022 in Herning Messecenter. All in all, more than 500 exhibiting companies and 40.015 visitors attended the exhibition.
