Conpleks leads OOG Company from idea to finished product

The first big order for CleanWheels, a wheel cleaner for wheelchairs, just rolled in at OOG Company. A product that was realized with Conpleks as a development partner throughout the process from idea to finished product.

It all began in 2014 when Thomas Larsen and Rune Dalgaard from OOG Company visited Conpleks and presented their idea. They brought a homemade and considerably simple model of the wheel cleaner’s cleaning mechanics, which partly consisted of a wooden frame and rollers mounted with brushes.

– We knew the idea was unique, and most importantly we knew, that we needed counselling from the right specialists to be able to realize it. Therefore the cooperation with Conpleks was ideal, as we were lead through all the phases from idea to finished product in a very competent matter. Their profound experience and knowhow have given us several genuine solutions regarding both design and components. Due to this cooperation we today offer a functional product of good quality, emphasizes Thomas Larsen, CEO at OOG Company.

Before the actual development process began, Conpleks made a Proof of Concept that accentuated the tangible idea and the product’s potential opportunities. Subsequently Conpleks helped choosing components and suppliers, as well as the company developed the industrial design in close dialogue with OOG Company. Finally Conpleks conducted the closing project evaluation, which involved assembling the parts of the final product to determine, whether it was in line with the original idea. The conclusion was that the wheel cleaner was ready to enter the market.
